Hello again!
Still in hospital with Tilda but she seems a little bit better today. She's stopped having fluids through her nasal tube for a while and she's allowed to drink 20mls of water every 20 minutes. Bless her, that's only the equivalent of 4 teaspoons and she's really really thirsty :(

Onto today's card......

I've used a Saturated Canary digi called Jules coloured with my Promarkers - I've had her for ages but this was the first time I've actually coloured her! The papers are all First Edition Boho Chic.  The tag is cut with my doohickey so wrapped Swirl die, flourishes are Marianne, leaves are Cheery Lynn and the banner is spellbinders. The sentiment is from a Dawn Bibby stamp set and the flowers, pearls, rafia and hessian are from my stash :)

I'm entering this card into the following challenges -

Pretty Pastels - Cutie Pie DT

a very late post from me tonight as my little girl is in hospital :( She's got the Rotavirus (horrible sickness and diarrhoea bug that tends to target toddlers). She's not been able to keep anything down for a few days and now she's dehydrated. Even though she's got no energy the little monkey has still managed to pull her nasal tube out twice already!

With all the beeping monitors and alarms and banging doors I don't think I'll be getting much sleep tonight so I'll fill you in on all the details of our new Cutie Pie challenge :)

Our theme for this fortnight is Pretty Pastels.....perfect for getting everyone in the mood for Spring! Although with the weather we've been having over the weekend you'd think Spring was already here!

We have two sponsors for this challenge, STAMP & CREATE
who have some fantastic offers over at their online store and the winner
of this prize will have a gift certificate to spend in the store!

Our second sponsor is MILK COFFEE DIGITAL STAMPS and there
are some fantastic digi stamps to choose from in their Etsy store, so if you need inspiration, then why not pop over and take a look!  They are offering 5 digi stamps of the randomly drawn winners choice

The Cutie Pie DT were all supplied with gorgeous Milk Coffee images to use and I've used mine to make a birthday card for my daughter from her sister :) Her birthday isn't until June but its always good to get ahead lol !

The papers I've used are from the new Papermania Spots and Stripes Pastel capsule collection again - couldn't get a more obvious choice really! Any of the papers in the pack would've been perfect for this challenge. The seam binding and flower are from WOC and the sentiment is Craftwork Cards.

Thanks for stopping by, really can't wait to see everybody's cards - I really enjoyed making mine :) x

I'm entering this card into the following challenges -

Crafty Catz Bingo Time!

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good week :)
Mine has been eventful to say the least! I was out shopping with my little girls and we were threatened and I was almost hit by an idiot with road rage! I don't even drive.....all we were doing was waiting to cross the road and he mounted the kerb, almost hitting my 2yr old and then tried to blame her!!! Such a lovely bloke...threatening 2 toddlers and a 5ft 1in woman!! The police are involved so I'll keep you updated about what happens ;)

Anyway enough about me and onto today's card....

We're playing bingo this week at Crafty Catz so take a look at the board and pick a line :)

Our sponsors for the week are the fab Stamp Fairy and Meiflower.

£20 Voucher

I love stamp fairy images and literally ALL of my gems and pearls come from Meiflower. They're always one of my first stops at the craft shows and i always stock up on their double sided tape as well :)

The papers I've used on my card are from the papermania Spots and Stripes Pastel capsule collection, love these papers, they're so versatile! The image was provided by Stamp Fairy and coloured with Promarkers. I've used XCut ovals and scalloped ovals dies, memory box Madera corner. It's finished with a couple of buttons from the capsule collection, flowers from WOC, some silk ribbon and a computer generated sentiment.

Crafty Catz dt - Love is in the air

Hi I'm back with another Valentine's card today....
This time its for the new challenge at Crafty Catz
Our theme for the week, as chosen by our lovely Aunty Sue, is......
Your project doesn't have to be a Valentine's card, it just has to feature a heart somewhere.

Our sponsor is the fab
and they're offering the winner 5 digi's of their choice

We were lucky enough to be given the choice of which image we would like to use and I chose Cabaret. It was a tough decision though, they're all great!!

She's coloured with pro markers and the papers are First Edition J'adore again. The heart tag is a magnolia doohickey die called So Wrapped Lovely that I got for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Flowers, gems and ribbon from my stash finish it off.

Looking forward to hopping round everyone's blogs seeing all your creations :) x
